A family photo of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Barron and the eldest six of their children was published in the February 2, 1988, edition of the Times-Herald. This photo shows the younger six children born after the first photo was taken. It was made about 1917 on the front steps of the old family home. From left are, front, W.A. "Bill" Barron, Chloe Barron (Askew) and L. Katheryn Barron; back, F.M. "Bo" Barron, J.H. "Jim" Barron and G.S. "George" Barron.

The family of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Barron is shown in this photo made around 1901 by Mr. S. Frank Jackson, who was a relative and a photographer. The photo is provided by Harold Barron, who said it was made at the foot of West Washington Street at the culvert which runs under the Central of Georgia railroad. Left to right are T.K. (Kellam) Barron, J.D. (Joe) Barron, H.E. (Eugene) Barron, Mr. C.J. (Charlie) Barron, W.E. (Earnest) Barron Sr., Mrs. C.J. (Laura) Barron and C.L. (Bud) Barron. There were six more children born after this photo was taken, and T.K. Barron is the only living member mow at 92. The other children not pictured were G.S. (George) Barron, J.H. (Jim) Barron after whom Harold was named, F.M. (Bo) Barron, L.K. (Kathryn) Barron, C.A. (Chloe) Barron and W.A. (Bill) Barron.
