Senoia students in Washington, D.C.
High School students from Brantley Institute in Senoia visited the Post Office Department in Washington, D.C., on May 31, 1939. Mrs. Coral Moses Hand was the teacher, shown at far right standing next to James W. Cole, second assistant postmaster general, and Roy Moses North, a cousin of Mrs. Hand, third assistant postmaster general. The group traveled to Washington by schoolbus.
