Description
This group of young athletes composed the Rotarians Little League Team in 1954. The photo appeared in the July 15, 1954, issue of the Times-Herald when the team had taken the lead in the league. From left are, front, Little Glover Jr., Howard Fincher, Danny Boone, Alvin Rose and Joe MacNabb; second row, Howard Glover, Jeff Taylor, Bobby Mote and Johnny Norton; back, Johnny Perryman, David Pope, Wendell Bishop, Jimbo Farmer and Otis Jones. In back is Coach Fleming Jones. Managers of the team were Edgar Parrott and Fleming Jones.
