This interesting photograph of the fifth grade students of Atkinson Grammar School on Nimmons Street in Newnan in 1920 was given to Theodore "Theo" Routon Brooke by Ed Wilkerson before 1984. Only five of the students could be identified by the Brooks. Ed Wilkerson is on the front row, fifth from left. James Brittian is on the front row, sixth from left. Henry Strozier is on the front row, seventh from left. Theodore Routon Brooke is on the third row, sixth from left. Clanton Reese is on the fourth row, sixth from left. Anyone who can identify any of the remaining students is asked to call Herb Bridges of the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society.
