This scene of "Selling Cotton: Newnan, Ga." was included in a set of ten views titled "Singer Souvenir of the South." The set was published by the Singer Sewing Machine Company in the early 1900s and distributed at Singer stores in every city. Other views were of Charleston, South Carolina; Columbus and Savannah, Georgia; Montgomery, Alabama; Silver Springs and St. Augustine, Florida; and a scene between Ashville and Hot Springs, North Carolina.
