Description
In 1923 a group of Coweta County businessmen and farmers went to Texas on a trip to see about buying land. On the land promotion trip were a Mr. Lovvorn from Newnan and James K. Polk, who owned and operated a farm west of Moreland. Polk, the maternal grandfather of Coweta residents Helen Tabb Wolak and Miriam Camp Miller, is fifth from the left.
