A group of young gentlemen pose in front of Joe Wynn's store in downtown Sharpsburg about 1912. In the photo are left to right, front, Richard Ingram and Rex Brown; middle row, Alvin Ingram and Alton Royonton; and back, Lehmann Hudson and Roy Bridges. The photo was provided by Ella Hill Brown Johnson, daughter of Rex Brown. Richard Ingram is the father od Ruth Welch, society editor of the Newnan Times-Herald. Mrs. Welch remembers that several of these men had a band, with Richard Ingram playing cornet, her uncle Alvin Ingram playing drums and Rex Brown playing trombone. Roy Bridges was also an uncle of Mrs. Welch by marriage to Lena Ingram.
