This photograph of a groupd of Senoia School students from 1923 or 1924 has been submitted by two different people, Coweta County resident Mrs. Montine Caldwell, whose husband is in the group, and by Mrs. Robert C. NeSmith of Raleigh, North Carolina. There is some discrepancy about the identities of some of the youngsters, who are from the first and second grades. From left are, front, John Nations, M.H. Burdette, Mary Clause Estes, Virginia Benton, Ruth Hubbard (or possibly Reba Allison), M.E. Norton, Ford Byron and "Preacher" Byrom (who may have been twins), and the teacher, Miss Virginia Arnall (now Mrs. Frank Holberg, Sr. of Senoia); second row, Hugh Attaway, Roy Hutchinson, Bernard Hubbard, Luther Crawford, John Byrom, Hoyt Duke, Ellis Johnson, Carl "Bokey" Crawford; third row, Sarah Hardin, possibly Verdell Bell, Virginia Caldwell, Ruby Milsap, Gladys Attaway; back, Elbert Caldwell (Mrs. Caldwell's husband); Luther Crawford, Roy "Mutt" Wilson and Merrill (or Merrill) Nations.
