Stripling's Department Store was a fixture on the north Newnan Court Square after the turn of the century, This view of the store interior shows merchandise of the era. From left, are two unknown workers; Frank W. Stripling; Jim Kersey; Ossie Allen; J.C. Stripling, David Stripling's father; and J. W. Stripling, David Stripling's grandfather, who was the founder of J.W. Stripling and Sons Department Store. The store was located where Kendra's is housed today.
