Almost every married couple has a photograph to remember the people taking part in their wedding ceremony - and this wedding party is especially large by anyone's estimation. Glover, Ann Glover (Parrott), Winnie Glover (Klein); second row, Frances Glover, Francina Cook (Kennedy), Fannie J. Glover (mother of the bride), Howard C. Glover (father of the bride), Mary Glover (Nixon) (maid of honor), Edmund F. Cook (groom), Virginia Glover (bride), Dr. Durden (minister), Mary Gibson Jones (grandmother of bride), Dorothy Jones, Singleton Cook (best man), Winnie Frazer, Thomas Jones Glover, Harold Atkinson; third row, Milton Glover, J. Littleton Jones, Porter Pope, unknown, unknown, Annie Pickett, Mary Freeman, Mary Power, Miss Brown, Mildred Arnall (Piniston), Annie Drake, Nina Thompkins, Inez Duke, Olive Pringle (Brown); back, all unknown groomsmen. This was a rainbow wedding, which meant that the bridesmaids could wear any color dress. All decorations were done by Miss May Powell. Note the doves suspended and bells on ribbons.
