Description
Tall cedar trees once stood in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan in the special Confederate section. The trees were demolished by a tornado in the late 1960s or early 1970s. The Confederate section holds the graves of 265 Confederate soldiers. The photograph appeared in the Coweta County Chronicles, reprints of which are available from the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society
