Description
Lake Raymond on Georgia Highway 16 in the Raymond Community was once a popular recreation spot in Coweta County. This scene was photographed when Lake Raymond was in its heyday in the early 1950s. Young people held dances beside the lake, which was also popular for swimming. The photograph is provided by Totsie McKnight (Mrs. Paul McKnight, Jr.), of Senoia, whose father, Joe Carraseo, ran the recreation area.
