Description
This photograph made in April 1943 in front of the old train depot in Newnan shows a group of young men who had been inducted into the service. They had come home for seven days of leave and were ready to leave for the service. On the front row are Sanford Pike of Newnan and Harold Burnham of Sargent. Not all those on the back row are known. The first two from the left are John Henry Mobley and Buren Borders, both from Arnco; and next to the end on the right, wearing a hat, is Reuben Smith of Arnco.
